The ONE time a catamaran SUCKS

When trying to find a place to HAUL OUT on the pacific coast of Central America.

Why? Because I want to copper-epoxy the bottom of the boat. It’s greener (no ablative paint to fall all over the coral), it’s easier to clean (no ablative paint in our skin), it’s stronger (no ablative… you get the picture).

Livin la Vida Broka (3): Sail. Your. Sailboat!

About attacking monkeys & a tacking sailboat – another LVB Episode in Puerto Lindo (Panama). It feels as if we had spent years here! We met so many people that got stranded here and so many boats found there final destination with Puerto Lindo.

Back to the topic: This episode is about sailing. Surprise, surprise! Join us while we sail off anchor with our catamaran!  Continue reading

¡Adios Mexico! | Sailing Zingaro – Episode 10

Check out our tour of the bottle island. It’s a really amazing adventure we had in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. An island floating on nothing but used plastic bottles? How sick is that! RichArt, a British artist, is really a master of recycling. All the little details in his house…

We had a lot of fun with him and the guys from Project Atticus. But after the island and our sail were fixed, it was time for us to leave Mexico. So the Captain took me (Kim) out for my first real sail. WOHOOO! It was a nice one…
