Beautiful locations, crazy problems... Grounding the boat, losing both rudders, ripping the sails. It certainly was not an easy trip so far.

Months of joy and moments of horror… Grounding the boat, losing both rudders, ripping the sails… It certainly was not an easy trip so far. But the rewards I got were incredible: freediving the kittiwake in the Cayman Islands, seeing the sun set over the mountains in Jamaica, cruising the Colombian coast and, of course, the San Blas Islands, Panama!

In this video captain James explains where the hell he’s been the last six months and why there were no updates on the plan, condition and position and he introduces his new crew (me).

The previous episode ended in southern Cuba, when Melissa joined the boat and Zingaro sailed to the Cayman Islands. We currently are in Puerto Lindo, Panama and finally found the time to explain and share the experiences made on our way here. It is a long way from Cuba to Panama and all the misfortune we had to deal with didn’t make it an easy way. So don’t worry, you won’t be bored.
